We are proud to share the photos of this project, which was manufactured using COR-TEN, a material in the “weathering steel” category that stands out with its unique surface finish, rather than ordinary structural steels.

To the average viewer, it might look like a three-arm staircase differentiated by a rusted effect, but you’re looking at a project that requires a great deal of courage and effort due to the nature of the material used.

The inability to perform filling and surface correction after production, along with the extra care taken to minimize undulations and surface distortions during manufacturing, and the unique techniques that permeate the production process starting from the design phase, make this project extremely valuable and a feast for trained eyes.

Achieving the desired color and patina on the unique rust texture on the surface requires a completely different R&D process. In this field, we develop and supply surface chemicals under the Konu brand in line with the needs and demands of our partners.
